Sending pace and schedule
How Companies a day and sending hours shape a campaign's daily plan, how sends are spaced through the day, and how to manage the plan on the Schedule tab.

On this page
Signalsant doesn't send a whole campaign at once. Each day it plans emails to a set number of companies and spreads them across your sending hours.
Companies a day
Set Companies a day in Sending → Pace:
- pick 25, 50, 100 or 200, or choose Custom for any number from 1 to 5,000;
- a new campaign starts at 50;
- above 200, Signalsant warns that "More than 200 a day from one mailbox risks the spam folder". It's a warning, not a block.
Start low with a new mailbox and raise it over a few weeks. Addresses found to be undeliverable are skipped and don't count towards the limit.
Sending hours
In Sending hours, switch on Only send during these hours and set:
- Timezone: your browser's zone is marked "your time";
- From and Until, as HH:MM. The end must be after the start.
Each day's emails are spaced evenly across those hours. If the switch is off, emails go out between 09:00 and 17:00 UTC.
You can set one window per day, and it applies every day. There are no weekday or holiday settings.
Once a campaign is running, change these under Email → Settings → Sending window.
How a day is planned
- The day's plan is made automatically when your sending hours begin.
- It takes up to Companies a day companies that haven't been contacted yet in this round.
- A day never gets more than the limit. After a pause, any backlog is spread across the following days rather than sent in a burst.
The Review & launch step estimates how long the audience will take, for example "At 50 a day, reaching 600 companies takes about 12 days."
The Schedule tab
A running campaign's Schedule tab shows:
- totals: Audience, Planned this round, Sent this round, Skipped (undeliverable) and Still to contact;
- the round's progress and how many more days it should take;
- a card for each planned email: Scheduled, Sending, Sent, Failed or Undeliverable.
You can plan ahead or trim a day:
- The Plan … button at the top (Plan today, Plan tomorrow or a date) and Plan next day at the end of the board plan the next unplanned day.
- Plan this day, on an empty day, plans that day.
- The menu on today or a later day has Fill up to the limit and Clear N unsent. Clearing also removes that day's failed and undeliverable messages, and those companies can be picked again.
Click a card to see when it goes out. From there you can:
- Remove it: the company can be picked on a later day;
- Send now, or Retry now if it failed;
- Write draft for AI-written emails;
- Open company.
Troubleshooting
- "Enter a number from 1 to 5,000.": fix Companies a day.
- "The end time must be after the start time.": a window can't run past midnight.
- "… is already full": that day already has as many emails as Companies a day.
- Nothing planned today: the day's sending hours may be over. The next plan is made when they start again.
