A company has no email
Why some companies have no email address or an undeliverable one, how campaigns treat them, and what you can do to reach more of your audience.

Emails come from the company's own website. If the site doesn't publish one, or the company has no website, Signalsant has no email to use.
Why it happens
- No website: the Google Maps listing had no website, so there was nothing to crawl.
- The site doesn't show an email: many sites use only a contact form.
- Not crawled yet: a company found recently may not have been crawled yet.
- The email is undeliverable: the address exists on the site but would bounce, for example because the domain doesn't receive mail.
How campaigns handle it
- Companies with no known email are skipped, unless you use fallback inboxes.
- Undeliverable addresses are skipped and counted under Skipped (undeliverable).
- Unverified addresses are checked before sending.
What you can do
- Target companies with email. Add "with an email" to your search on Companies, such as "plumbers in Leeds with an email". Then add the results to a group.
- Check a group before launching. The group page shows how many companies have a sendable email.
- Turn on fallback inboxes. Let the campaign try addresses like sales@ at the company's domain. See Fallback inboxes.
- Refresh one company. On its page, use ⋯ → Refresh company info to crawl its website again.
Good to know
You can't add an email to a company by hand. A business that claims its page can add its own contact details. See Edit your business profile.
