Create a company group
Three ways to create a company group: from the Groups page, from selected companies in search results, or from every company a Deep Search found.

On this page
Before you start
You need the Moderator role or higher. A group name needs 2–255 characters.
From the Groups page
- Open Companies → Groups and click Create group.
- Enter a Group name and, if you like, a Description.
- Click Create.
You'll see "Company group created successfully". The group starts empty; see Add and remove companies.
From companies you've selected
- On Companies, search for the companies you want. See Find and filter companies.
- Tick the companies and click Add to group.
- Click Create a new group instead and enter a New group name.
- Click Add.
You'll see "Added N of M companies to the group".
From a Deep Search
- Open a Completed Deep Search.
- In the ⋯ menu choose Create group.
- Check the Group name (it starts as the search query) and click Create group.
The group gets every company from the search that has been processed so far, up to 1,000, and opens straight away.
Rename or delete a group
On the Custom tab, hover over a group's card and open the ⋯ menu:
- Edit group changes the name and description. Click Save.
- Delete group removes the group. Its companies aren't deleted, but you can't undo this.
Troubleshooting
- "Group name is required" / "Enter a group name": type a name.
- "Added 0 of N": the group already had those companies.
- "Group already has the maximum of 1000 companies": the group is full. Remove some companies or use another group.
- "Failed to create group": the name may be too short. Use at least 2 characters.
- You can't edit a group: default groups are read-only; they show a Default badge.
