Reconnect a mailbox after access is revoked
When Google or Microsoft revokes access, the mailbox shows Access revoked and its campaigns pause. Reconnect with the same mailbox to resume sending.

Google and Microsoft can take back the access you gave Signalsant, for example after you change your password or remove the app in your account's security settings. When that happens, Signalsant stops sending from that mailbox until you reconnect it. This applies to Gmail and Outlook only.
What you'll see
- The integration's card shows Access revoked and a Reconnect button.
- The integration's Details tab explains that the provider revoked access. Your senders and campaigns stay as they are.
- Each email campaign that was sending through the mailbox:
- is paused automatically;
- shows Auto-paused in the campaign list, with a banner on the campaign.
- Emails already queued stay queued. They aren't marked as failed and they aren't lost.
Before you start
- You need the Moderator role or higher.
- Know which account to sign in with. You must reconnect the same mailbox: the integration's default sender.
Steps
- Open Integrations and click Reconnect on the card. You can also click Reconnect on the integration's page, in the campaign's mailbox picker, or in the error message.
- Sign in to Google or Microsoft with the same mailbox and approve access.
- You return to the integration with "Mailbox reconnected", or "Reconnected. N campaign(s) resumed."
What resumes
Only the campaigns Signalsant paused because of the revoked access start again, and their queued emails go out. A campaign that you or a teammate paused yourselves stays paused.
Troubleshooting
- "Mailbox not reconnected — Sign in with … to reconnect": you signed in with a different account. Click Reconnect again and choose the mailbox named in the message.
- "The mailbox couldn't be reconnected. Try again.": start again. If it keeps failing, check that the account can still sign in to its mailbox.
- "Couldn't start reconnecting. Try again.": reload the page and try again.
- You clicked Disconnect earlier: a disconnected mailbox can't be reconnected. See Disconnect or delete an integration.
