There are three ways to stop a mailbox from sending. Choose the lightest one that does what you need.

Option What it does Can you undo it?
Switch it off Pauses sending; keeps everything Yes, switch it back on
Disconnect (Gmail, Outlook) Removes the stored sign-in No: delete it and connect again
Delete Removes the integration, its senders and credentials No

Switch it off (pause)

Use the switch on the integration's card, or turn off Integration active on its Details tab and click Save changes. Nothing sends through the integration while it's off, and nothing is deleted. You need the Moderator role.

Disconnect

  1. Open the integration and go to Details.
  2. In the Connection card, click Disconnect, then Disconnect again to confirm.

You need the Admin role.

Disconnecting removes the stored sign-in for Gmail or Outlook, and the mailbox can't be reconnected afterwards. To send from it again, delete the integration and connect the mailbox again. Campaigns using it stop sending straight away; they aren't auto-paused.

Delete

  1. On the integration's card, open the ⋯ menu and choose Delete. Or go to Details → Danger zone → Delete this integration.
  2. Confirm with Delete integration.

You need the Admin role. The integration, its senders and its stored credentials are removed. Campaigns that used it lose their mailbox and stop sending until you choose another one in each campaign's email channel.

Before you disconnect or delete

  1. Pause the campaigns that use the mailbox. See Start, pause and resume a campaign.
  2. Connect the replacement mailbox and choose it in each campaign's email channel.

Troubleshooting

  • Access was revoked and you want sending back: don't disconnect. Use Reconnect instead; see Reconnect a mailbox.
  • The action fails with an error: disconnecting and deleting need the Admin role.
