This article covers two setup steps: Audience (who gets the email) and the Send from part of Sending (which mailbox and address it comes from).
Audience: who should hear from you?
- In the campaign setup, go to Audience.
- Tick one or more groups. They're split into Your groups and Shared groups. When you have more than six groups, use Search groups.
- Click Continue (Continue to content on wider screens).
A company that's in several of the groups you pick is contacted only once. Groups showing No companies yet can't be picked.
If you have no groups yet, click Create a group. See Use groups as campaign audiences.
Send from: mailbox and sender
In Sending, under Send from:
- Choose a Mailbox. If your team has only one, it's chosen for you.
- From starts on the mailbox's default sender. Pick another of its senders from the list to change it.
No mailbox yet? Click Connect a mailbox. It opens in a new tab, and everything else you've chosen is kept.
After launch: the Email tab
On a campaign's page:
- Audience lets you add or remove groups.
- Email → Settings opens Email settings, with every sending option in one form:
- How emails are written;
- Companies a day and Allow resends;
- Send from (Mailbox and From);
- Fallback inboxes;
- Default attachments (Add files): files attached to every email from this campaign, on top of any attached to its templates;
- Sending window.
Click Save settings when you're done; you'll see "Email settings saved".
Channels
Campaigns send email only. WhatsApp, SMS and push aren't available yet.
Troubleshooting
- "Pick at least one group to send to.": tick a group in Audience.
- "The groups you picked have no companies yet": add companies to the group, or pick another one.
- "This integration has no sender identities yet": add a sender. See Senders and the default sender.
- The mailbox shows "Access revoked": see Reconnect a mailbox.
- Outlook: a single email's attachments can't add up to more than 3 MB.
